Founded in 1978 by Allen Dresdner, “Dresdner Associates” provided master plan and site planning services to municipal and private sector clients within New Jersey. Partnering with Edward Robin, Dresdner Robin expanded its work focus to include environmental impact and environmental assessment services for the NJDOT, other public clients and for private land development projects in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
This partnership created the opportunity for Dresdner Robin to become a pioneer in Brownfields projects. The Company relocated to Jersey City in 1985 where it made an unmatched contribution to the rebirth of the urban landscape by continuing its focus on planning and the environment. Notable projects include Newport, Hudson Exchange and Porte Liberte redevelopment projects in Jersey City.
Dresdner Robin later expanded to provide site civil engineering led by Fred Worstell. Land surveying, environmental planning and landscape architecture services were subsequently added in order to provide clients with a full range of land-use consulting services.
